Is EVANGELICAL Christianity Biblical? 🧐 Yes!

Well, what’s YOUR answer to the question?? If you’re attending an Evangelical Protestant church, you’re probably like: “No brainer,” right?!

Well, it’s not quite that simple, because non-Protestants like Catholics and Orthodox will often criticize us for not having a faith that is ROOTED in the historic church. Now, I will admit that the early church probably didn’t have laser lights 😱 😂 … HOWEVER, you would be surprised to see how many of the practices of contemporary Evangelical churches CAN be found in the Bible AND in the practices of the early church!  

YES, you heard me right, there is PLENTY 🤯 of “Evangelical” and “Protestant” in the ancient church! For example, the word “Gospel” is “Evangelion” in the Greek and, you guessed it … that’s why we’re called “Evangelical” … we’re passionate about the Gospel … We’re passionate about evangelism!

YET, in my new series I take things even further to show you how we DO see the CORE Protestant doctrine of justification by faith ALONE in Paul, James and even the earliest Christian writings!
